Phatfish

Phatfish

Phatfish are a band based at the Church of Christ the King, Brighton, UK. Since their formation in 1994, Phatfish have been committed to writing, playing and recording songs that draw people to worship our amazing God.

The band’s sound has evolved over the years and emerged as a tight pop-rock thing. They pursue excellence in their musicianship and are passionate about exercising their gifts for God's glory.

Whether performing a live show or leading a congregation in worship, the desire of Phatfish is to see God's presence come to bring provocation, revelation, and restoration. Over the years Phatfish have recorded a number of outstanding albums, including the best-selling ‘Heavenbound’, the live and unplugged ‘Hope’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Guaranteed’. Their most recent release ‘In Jesus’ features the two newest additions to the band, guitarists Jos Wintermeyer and Ben Hall.

Standout songs penned by Phatfish members include ‘There is a Day’, ‘Holy Holy’, ‘The Cross’, ‘Awake, Awake O Zion’ and ‘Amazing God’ which have been sung by many worshippers around the world. As well as leading worship and performing in their own right, Phatfish are also regularly called upon to work alongside worship leaders such as Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds and Matt Redman.
